TAKEOVER/UNITED FESTIVAL. EVENT RESCHEDULED!

Due to the state of the grounds @ SMSP as a result of recent rain & the predicted forecast for even more on the way – the track & it’s surroundings will be unusable for this weekends event.
Safety is always #1. After discussions with Sydney Motorsport Park All aspects of this Saturday’s event, including Driving Sports Takeover, Tuned. United Festival & Tuned. Monster Meet will be rescheduled as a result of safety.

Tuned. United Festival – 26 November 2022
Tuned. Monster Meet – 26 November 2022
If the forecast is accurate & the rain continues – the track itself will be under water in some areas & the grass areas will be mud by Saturday night. The grounds are already saturated & the second storm front is due right before Saturday’s event start.
Conscious it’s only Thursday – but with so many entrants travelling from interstate, hiring trailers, booking accomodation – etc we wanted to make this call sooner rather than later so the relevant arrangements can be made in advance.
DRIVING COMPETITORS: We do not have a date yet to move this too but we will work with the track to get another date.
Emails to entrants will go out this evening sometime with options for a refund or to hold payments for when the next date is decided on.
SHOW & SHINE ENTRANTS: All Show & Shine entries including passenger passes have been proactively moved to the new United Festival event date – 26/11. If you are unable to make the new date, please contact the Tuned. inbox BY FRIDAY 14TH OCTOBER to determine next steps. Due to influx of messages, please allow a few days for response however rest assured, as always – we will make it right.
TRADERS: Tuned. Team will be in touch to discuss arrangements for the alternate date.
When the requirement for a reschedule comes to light – It’s never an easy message to write or deliver, however as always, we truly appreciate your ongoing support & understanding – & importantly, we apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. We can control most aspects of an event, however the weather is not one of them – especially when we blend the line between show & motorsport with the required outdoor scenery.
One things is for sure, the extra time granted for the upcoming events means when they do happen, they will be even bigger & better – that’s a promise.
